Digital Fabrication of Gears

The Gear Belt was part of a set design commission where we utilized rapid prototyping techniques and digital fabrication to iteratively design several versions until the correct aesthetic was reached. The gears were first drawn in a CAD program and then laser cut in cardboard, and finally CNC cut in wood.

This project is part of a series of work we did with GeekPhysical. We helped companies around the world to create incredible, memorable experiences, experimenting at the forefront of technology, sensors, and human-computer interaction”.
